EditShare is the pioneer of cross platform collaborative editng and shared media storage system (gigabit ethernet based) and is compatible with Grass Valley EDIUS, Avid, Apple and other on-linear editing software.You can allocate disk volumes to different users, with configurable levels of file protection. In a shared edit environment, administrators can control who can see & more importantly delete the projects & files of other users. It doesn't matter if you are working on a Mac or PC, both users can access the same media files at the same time.

Flow delivers state-of-the-art Ingest and Browse capabilities fully integrated with the EditShare shared storage and archiving solutions.

Flow Ingest
Triggered manually or scheduled in advance, Flow Ingest captures up to four channels of media and associated metadata; storing each channel in up to three formats simultaneously and outputting a proxy for fast retrieval. No background transcoding is required; files are available immediately for editing – even while recording is in progress.

Flow Browse
Flow Browse completes the media organization process by simplifying media
cataloging and accelerating the search and retrieval of material within the
EditShare shared storage environments. Flexible metadata fields makes it easy
to quickly locate media among hundreds of thousands of clips on the EditShare media spaces.
